LIW End of Cycle 1 P2

I am actually glad that P2 is over, only 2 more days of VLCD. I am almost ready for my trip to California. I received my new clothes yesterday! I can't wait to show off the new me to my fam and friends out in So Cal. Wahoo!!! Anyway, going to enjoy P3 and my vacation. I will be back on P2 February 7th! Two weeks of P3 then back to P2. I think that this P2 has been extremely successful. I can't remember how many days I have done (14 or 15 w/ injections), but I think it averages out to a pound a day! P3 will prove to me whether this cycling matter is going to work or if I have to go back to the normal way of protocol. Hope everyone has a nice weekend!!!

Just Do It...

That's what I need to keep telling myself. I don't want to drag it out so I just need to tell him what's on my mind. It seriously is dragging me down big time. One more day of P2 then on to P3 and So Cal. Can't wait. Possibly going bowling tonight but not sure. Anyway, back to work...

Demise of a relationship...

Really nice loss this morning. I would have to say it is yesterday and today combined because yesterday only showed a .2lbs drop and I know that the night before I hardly got any sleep. I have 2 more days left of R3P2 Cycle 1. I have to say that I am pleased with the results so far. Sunday marks D1 of P3. Like I said, 2 weeks give or take of P3 then back to P2 for R4. I think that the short rounds will do me better. I do get bored easily with the food.

I have started getting together with old friends lately. I guess it was an unspoken New Years resolution. I haven't necessarily secluded myself since starting protocol, but relationships and protocol together make it hard to juggle social scenes. Since my relationship is nearing the end, I would actually say it is already there, and I am somewhat "seasoned" when it comes to protocol, I am going back to being a social butterfly. I went out with an ex last night. Yes, I know... Some of you are thinking not a good idea, however, we have known each other for 6 years and have a really great friendship. I do believe that some couples can be friends after a break up. It just depends on how the friendship was before hand. Still, it was really great to see him. Of course, he hasn't seen me in over a year due to schedules and other reasons. I really wish that I would have taken a picture when he saw me. It was the best reaction and really a great compliment. We went to a movie and pretty much caught up on what's been going on with us in the last year, year and a half. I have realized, in the past year, that until I have children and a husband, I am the most important person in my life. My relationship has been dwindleing for the last 4 months or so. I always hope for the best in people but sometimes you just have to reevaluate things and possibly walk away. Needless to say, I have not walked away yet. Trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, but either way, my heart isn't in it anymore. I don't hate him or anything like that, I am just not in love with him anymore and feel like I have been taken advantage of since he got out of the military. I feel like I am being followed around constantly. I have also learned that, at this point in my life, cohabitation is not the right path for me. I always said that I would wait until I was engaged but I have made 2 exceptions to this rule. Well, no more. I miss having my own space and being able to come and go as I please. I miss coming home to an empty house and just curling up in front of the tv in my pjs. I know, I know, I can do that now but it's not the same. So I have made the decision that unfortunately, things need to end. I do need to do it soon. I just feel bad because I know that it is going to hurt him more then me and he has been interviewing a lot lately. I just worry as to how it will affect his mindset. Either way, he still needs to find a job. There have been things that have been said... One of them being that he will not resent me for staying in VA as long as we are together. Trust me, I flipped. I am an independent, extroverted woman. No one is going to try to corner me into a relationship... As my roommate says... I do what I want. Ü But no really, I just need my space! So that's what has been happening with me. Normally the stress gets the best of me but this has helped me focus more on my weightloss journey because it is what I can control. Everything else will just fall in to place.

Quickie

Down .9 this morning. Working in the AM again tomorrow so if I get enough sleep I will weigh before work and have an update. Since I am heading out on vacation, I will spend that on P3 as well as the following week then head back into P2. Obviously this is not set in stone. Just going to take it day by day. I am glad that I will be in Cali for part of P3. There are more options for fresh food there. Definitely going to hit In-N-Out burger for a fresh made protein burger. What can I say?! It's my weakness. No bun and no secret sauce so I should be good.

Everything is set for my mini vacation. Car is reserved. Flight is book. Schedule is made, well for the most part. Just trying to get to see certain people in the short time that I am there. Definitely going to see family and a girlfriend that I haven't seen since I was 15-16 years old. So so excited. Have a lot to do in a little amount of time. Anyway, off to get things ready for tomorrow and get some shut eye. Hope everyone is well. Will try to catch up with everyone and update tomorrow afternoon.

Double Trouble

Working a double today and only got 3 hours of sleep so no weigh in this morning. I know that with no sleep and the scale I will only be disappointed because 99% of the time it shows a gain when in fact that is not true. Anyway, just wanted to quickly update. Down .9lbs yesterday. Looking forward to tomorrows weigh in after a good nights sleep. In a way, I kind of prefer skipping a day because then my loss seems that much bigger. I know, it's silly. I have planned my trip back home. Jan 24-27 I will be in SoCal. I will be revealing my new and improved, but still improving, self to my older sister and friends. Oh, and an ex. Hehe. Can't wait to see the look on their faces. AND I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS MINI VACATION! I seriously need to get away from here with just me, myself, and I. That being said, I will end P2 on the AM of the 21st so that I can enjoy Cali and be in P3 by the time that I get there. Let's see what kind of losses I can pull from the hat until then. Anyway, hope everyone enjoys their Saturday. I'll check in on everyone in a bit.

Woohoo!!!

TOM is here, as I mentioned in the previous post and WOW! I hopped on the scale expecting a tiny loss... 1.4lbs!!! DANG!!! Yes, I was definitely stoked. I am hoping it is not a glitch in the scale but either way... Still losing. Other then that, not much going on. I don't know if the L-Glutamine is actually working because TOM is here and I am usually more hungry during it. Plus, I haven't been taking it on a regular basis, only when I get the hunger pains. Anyway, I am only going to do 10 or so more injections. I skipped the last 2 days and will start back up tomorrow. I will see where I am at once day 17 hits and go from there. Short P3 round of about 20 days then back on P2 for round 4. Definitely excited to see what the results will be. Time to hit the sack. Long, busy day. Happy Releasing/Maintaining!

Less then 50 to go

It's so awesome to be able to say that I have less then 50lbs to go until I reach goal weight!!! Soo excited. Anyway, real quick. Down 0.8lbs this morning. TOM decided to come a week early. Not happy about that but it is what it is. Got my L-Glutamine all taken care of. MSM will start next week. I am surprised that I haven't felt fatigued this round as I did my first 2 rounds. I will skip my injection today and tomorrow for TOM. I have 18 days left until P3. I will be excited to reach Onederland before the end of this round. 14.3lbs to go!!! I can do it. I am completely focused and motivated. Now it's time to clear the snow out of the driveway and off my car so I can head to work. Happy Releasing/Maintaining/Cycling!!!

How I spent my day off...

Lol so I had my interview this morning. OMG I was so incredibly nervous. On top of that, our printer took a crap shoot so I had to print out my resume there. Anyway, after the first question my nerves calmed down. I think the interview went well.
The rest of the day was spent grocery shopping, playing Just Dance 2, and uncapping 270 L-Glutamine caplets so I could just have the powder. Lol anyway, down .4lbs. Small loss is better then no loss. Question... Anyone know when I should start taking MSM? Is it ok to take during protocol or should I wait until P3??? Want to get a head start on tightening up skin. Hope you are all well. Happy Releasing.

Another day down...

Down another 2.2lbs! No complaints here. Pretty much spent all day preparing for my interview tomorrow. This will be the 3rd one since November for the supervisor position. It's also the 3rd station. I ended up pulling out of Vegas for certain reasons. I ultimately want to get back to So.Cal. I miss it so much. So I am hoping, hoping, hoping that I will get this one tomorrow. They will wait a few weeks to announce it but it is at my station so it won't be too bad. Of course, the interview process will be a little bit harder because, like I said, it is at the station I currently work at. Plus it will be with MY bosses against MY coworkers. I just have to make sure I sell myself and don't sound too cocky. It's hard to talk about myself but oh well. I can do it. I have done it on 2 other occasions, each one better then the last.
In HCG world... Definitely dealing with hunger pains. My stomach is growling nonstop as I type this. I just had some tea and will get some water in a few. I will be going to bed early tonight because of the interview so hopefully that will help. I have made my food for the work week, one less thing to worry about. Well for 3 of the 5 days. I will finish up tomorrow. I need to hit the grocery store again because I am running low on tilapia and shrimp. I find that when I eat fish, my weight loss is greater. I guess it is because fish has virtually no fat and you can't always get all of the fat off of chicken. Anywho... I have yet to go to GNC. I have been putting it off. I may just order the stuff online. GNC is kind of out of the way for me. I found my folder with my original measurements. I will take some in the AM so that I can compare for the 3 rounds. I fit into an Old Navy LARGE today!!! How awesome right?! And I have a shirt from Torrid that I bought, it's a 0 which is equivalent to a L. It will look perfect with about 5-7 more pounds gone so I am excited. I love seeing the results in my clothes. LOL I am trying not to buy anything right now. I want to wait as long as possible. I will go buy a pair of jeans after this round is up... I can always have my dress pants taken in. Well, I am gonna get going. Happy Releasing to everyone!

Love the first couple of HCG days...

Lost 3lbs yesterday. I am going to try to stop by GNC to pick up some L-Glutamine bc hunger is what really hurt me last round. That and a lack of focus. Lol. This round, all I am thinking about is the fact that I am more then half way to my goal. I am so close, it's not worth messing up for. We had our holiday party last night and I am proud of myself. All that I had was salad with lemon. The chicken looked amazing but it had some orange glaze on it so I knew it was going to be a no-no. So I sat there, eating my 2 servings of salad, which they make the same way I do; a bowl full of spring mix; lol and my club soda. It's actually fun to watch all the drunkenness lol. Anyway, going to see what the scale says this morning and get ready for work. Happy releasing/maintaining.

Back in the saddle again! Round 3 Cycle 1

Two days ago I began R3 and also the beginning of my trial cycling run. I will admit, I did not hold back during the holidays. It was my birthday, then Christmas, then New Years. I had been weighing myself periodically but not so much as to become obsessed with the number on the scale. I knew where I was going into this round. So I am up 10lbs, including loading days. The interesting thing is that after my first loading day, I showed a loss of 1lb and then day showed a gain of 2lbs. Either way, it doesn't matter to me. For this load, I really paid attention to what I was eating. I ate alot of healthy fats; oil, avocado, almonds, eggs, cheese, etc. Idk how healthy the cheese is but I figured I would get the most of it since I will be unable to partake for a little while. This round will be a short one, only the minimum days. Then I will hit P3 and go back into P2 after 3 weeks. I am hoping that I will reach my goal weight of 160-165 during R4. Either way, I will take whatever the weightloss gods want to give me. I was going to put off R3 for a few more weeks but things are extremely stressful at home and this is the only thing that I really have control over. Yes, a little OCD. I do admit but it is what it is. Things at home are actually beyond stressful and in all honesty I have given up. I will save the details for another time. Right now, I am just looking forward to hopping on that scale tomorrow to see what my first loss for this round will be!!! Hope everyone is well. I have missed staying updated with everyone, but I am back and will be checking in on you all on a regular basis. Happy Releasing and Happy Maintaining!!!

Happy New Year

Just wanted to wish everyone a very Happy New Year. Hope that everyone enjoyed the holidays. I know I did. I'll be back in full effect and blogging regularly next week. I will be doing a short round then P3 and cycling back to P2 for a full round. Hopefully after that, I will have reached my goal. I would love to get their by May. A lot has been going on and I just don't have the mental energy to fill you all in right now. I'll be back in a couple of days.
